On August 24 and 25, “Canada’s fightingest ship” celebrates the 81st anniversary of its commissioning.
We are thrilled to invite you to make this commemoration a cherished end-of-summer tradition. Come aboard HMCS Haida to immerse yourself in the ship’s storied history and create lasting memories.
This year, we aim to make the event even more special, with the return of historic weapons demonstrations, special tours, light refreshments, souvenirs for early visitors, and more! Whether you’re a history buff, a naval enthusiast, or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend time with your loved ones, there’s something for everyone.
Demonstrations of the 4” guns on Pier 8 will occur at 11 am, 1 pm, and 2 pm daily.
