“Tlalli Festival is a celebration of live Indigenous music, dance, and ancient culinary traditions. It’s dedicated to honouring and celebrating the multi-millenary-old connection among Indigenous Peoples across the Americas: from First Nations in Canada, Incas in Perú, Aztecs in México, Guaranís in Brazil, Tainos in the Caribbean Islands…to many more and beyond.
TLALLI means EARTH in the ancient Nahuatl language of the Mexica (meh-shi-ca) People. This celebration is an opportunity to honour and thank the earth as the main source of sustenance for both ancient civilizations and modern-day cultures around the planet. People of ALL nations, cultures and ethnicities are welcome to join our one-day gathering and ceremony that will offer us the opportunity to ground and reconnect ourselves with our beloved and true homeland, Tlalli.

Come prepared for a unique food treat through the rare-to-find and ancient Zoquean recipes from a remote region in southern Mexico. All foods will be cooked by our special guest and Zoquean chef, Suri Guzman, who will be travelling from Chiapas to delight our palettes with her exquisite recipes—made only with fresh produce harvested from Plan B Organic Farms.
Vegan option available too
On this special occasion, wines from the Canary Islands will be served, thanks to Canary Wine & Bodegas Viñátigo.
