Inside the Chrysalis is a science fiction that is happening now. Asleep in cocoons, people dream of new worlds. Inner landscapes and strange bedfellows. What will emerge? This 360 video work is made from composited panoramic photos that Hamiltonians have sent to the artist, following a set of instructions that detail how to build a “cocoon” set from common household items. From these, the artist has created a short, immersive video piece that can be viewed from your “cocoon” at home.
