Canadian rock musician and songwriter Joel Plaskett is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia and has toured across North America and Europe. His music career includes solo projects, collaborations and his band Emergency. His songwriting success is evidenced by The Arkells, Sloan, Jill Barber, The Sheepdogs and many others covering his songs in a tribute album called  “Songs from the Gang”!
