Auchmar House/Estate in Hamilton was formally recognized as one of Canada’s historic places in March 2001, and is protected by several heritage designations.

 Auchmar is a gothic revival manor house set in a 4 hectare walled property. Auchmar is owned by the City of Hamilton and locally honoured for the rich cultural heritage of those who made it home.
