“Hamilton’s Here&Now Dance Festival returns for its third year, featuring
choreographers from Hamilton and across Canada.
Hamilton, ON – Local dance company, Aeris Körper, has brought back their annual
Here&Now festival, taking place at McMaster University’s L.R. Wilson Hall from June
5-7th, 2026.
Aeris Körper is proud to bring Here&Now back to McMaster for its third year in a row,
with even more to look forward to. Here&Now brings together choreographers both
locally and nationwide at all stages of the creation process, with an emphasis on their
connection to the audience. The three-day festival features three main events;
Mainstage, a triple-bill of boundary-pushing choreographers from across Canada;
Prospects, a series of six Hamilton-made works-in-progress, that invites the audience
into the discussion; and a special Neighbourhood Moves Workshop, facilitated by
Mainstage choreographer, Lina Cruz, welcoming all bodies to experience the festival
from the inside out.

This year, festival choreographers include Priyanka Topé (Hamilton), Lina Cruz
(Montréal), Jessie Garon (Toronto), Abby Yates & Vincent Enorme (Hamilton, Toronto),
Julia Garlisi (Hamilton), Vanessa & Veronica Ramirez (Hamilton), Jane-Leigh Jameson
(Hamilton), Skye Rogers & Vik Mudge (Hamilton, Niagara), and Taskin Anha
(Hamilton). Additional special events will be taking place leading up to and across the
festival weekend, including dance film screenings at FARSIDE, live DJing sets by DJ
Savage Good, and a line dancing workshop with Bolo Tie Line. Head to
