Newcomers are always welcome to join these classes which will offer something for drummers of all skill levels from absolute beginner to advanced.
Learn proper hand techniques, sounds, timing, dexterity, and how to improve the overall quality of your drumming. Come share in rhythmic exercises and drills that you can take home with you to practice. Gain knowledge of different African rhythms and play along in parts with your fellow Naked Beat drummers.
Bring a large djembe drum and chair. Drums can be rented from Long & McQuade.
Instructor TOM WOLF has over 35 years of percussion/djembe experience in performing, teaching, and facilitation, and he is one of the best instructors in the area. His classes offer a casual, welcoming, and humorous atmosphere”– Tom Wolf.
