“Join the Woodland Cultural Centre to Honour Orange Shirt Day on September 30th!
Come together with us to remember and honour the history and resilience of Indigenous peoples at the Woodland Cultural Centre, a First Nations-run educational and cultural center located on the grounds of the former Mohawk Institute Residential School.
Join us for a full day of programming from 1PM – 6PM, including:
– Screening of the film Silent No More
– Survivor Talk and Q&A
– Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) activities
– And more!

A BBQ will be available starting at 4 PM, followed by a Social at 5 PM. The first 200 attendees will receive an educational resource bag with valuable TRC information!
