The Griffin House National Historic Site is on a hilltop overlooking the Dundas Valley. It was the home of Enerals & Pricilla Griffin who escaped slavery and purchased the home and farmland in 1834. The Griffin House may have limited visiting hours, so check before planning your visit. The Griffin House NHS is part of the Hamilton Civic Museums’ portfolio.
