Matty Simpson is a Hamilton native, singer, songwriter, musician and world class guitarist. He performs with Justine Fischer in The Matty Simpson Band and Dogmahound, and collaborates with musicians and friends around town.
Simpson toured as lead guitar in the rock band Holding Sky and joined the Fred Eaglesmith Traveling Show fulltime tour around the world for several years. Matty Simpson has crafted a unique sound blending roots with influences of rock, folk and southern rock and blues.
Matty Simpson’s debut album Strange Weather is out and available on bandcamp. This album of original music features Simpson on guitar and vocals, Justine Fischer on bass, keys and vocals and Matt Burns on drums, vocals and percussion.
