Shawn & Ed Brewing restored this historic Dundas landmark – formerly the Dundas Curling Club and Skating Rink!

“What Canadian wouldn’t want to put a brewery inside an old curling and skating rink?! Our beautiful building was built by former mayor of Dundas, Richard Todd Wilson, in the 1860s and has a long, important history in our town. Here is it was used for, before it was your favourite local craft brewery.

The building was initially used as a foundry

It’s most well-known as the former Dundas Curling & Skating Rink

Highway King Bus Line used it as a garage to store buses from 1923-1932

A multitude of things were manufactured here, including crokinole boards and ringer-rollers for washing machines between 1933-1974

Valley City Furniture used it for storage and upholstery from 1974-2012″ — Shawn & Ed Brewing.
