Cinquefoil presents a series of music performances during the year at The Rock on Locke aka the Church of St John the Evangelist. Each Cinquefoil event focuses on a central theme-with each of the 5 artists performing their unique version of the theme.

“Cinquefoil is a series celebrating chamber music of all kinds, including classical, jazz, folk and electronic music.
The name (pronounced SANGk-foil) comes from the badge of the Hamilton clan (found on the Hamilton flag) and is a local weed with a yellow flower of five petals. If you keep an eye out, you’ll see it everywhere.
5 artists performing for 10 minutes each, all programming their music based on a common theme.
This is sort of a concert, but it’s also meant to be much more social than your typical chamber concert.”–CInquefoil.
