The LOWDOWN DIRTY MOJOS describe their music  —“We write songs in a style that sends you back to the mid 60’s Rhythm’n’Blues music scene, with a few twists and a modern sensibility.” The band formed in 2018 in Hamilton and released the first album in 2019 “Screamin’ Hoodoo R’n’B”. The second album “Stone Cold Groovers” released in 2021.

The LOWDOWN DIRTY MOJOS won the 2022 New Artist of the Year Maple Blues Award.  Band members include Paul Wootton vocals, guitar & songwriter, Stephen Foster guitar, vocals & songwriter, Claude Desroches drums, Kevin Christoff bass and Robert Jarovi organ and piano.
